Small experiments
Placeholder preview: run small experiments, outline before you write, and sketch the system first.

This is placeholder text for a fourth sample email, the latest one.
The note
One large decision gives you one answer, slowly. Ten small experiments give you ten answers in the same time. Pick something that takes an afternoon, decide in advance what result would change your mind, and write down what happened.
If an experiment is about writing, outline first. A page of structure saves an hour of rewriting, and it shows you quickly whether the idea holds.
Three things worth your time
- A one-page writing outline template.
- A diagram tool, Boxes and Arrows. It is an invented example.
- A video on a month of small experiments.
Coming up
Open office hours are on the calendar. Bring a question.
A question to take with you
What is the cheapest experiment that could prove you wrong?
That is all for this sample.
